What is Cryolipolysis?
Cryolipolysis is a medical procedure that eliminates stubborn fat safely and effectively, without surgery or downtime.

How does it work on fat cells?
Cryolipolysis deals with breakdown or destruction of fat (lipolysis) through application of cooling (cryo) techniques. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), which make them lifeless. Over time, the body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.

How long does the procedure take? How many sessions are required?
The length of your session varies depending on the area and number of areas being treated during one visit. Additional sessions may be needed depending on the amount of fat present in the area that is being treated. With each treatment session, you typically see about 15-20% reduction.

What is the recovery time or downtime?
Since the procedure is nonsurgical, patients can return to work immediately and resume their exercise routine as well. There are no restrictions imposed following the treatment.

Are there any known side effects or complications from this procedure?
During the procedure, you may experience deep pulling, tugging, pinching, numbness or discomfort. Following the procedure, typical side effects such as temporary numbness, redness, swelling, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging and pain may arise. Few rare side effects may also show up.

How long until I see results?
You may start seeing changes in as less as three weeks after your treatment is over However, most dramatic results can be witnessed after two months. Your body will continue to flush out fat cells for up to four to six months after the treatment is completed.
